The 404 exhibitors evaluated their trade fair participation very highly, in spite of the extremely difficult situation in 2010: 66% with “very good” and “good”, 27% with “satisfactory”.

Repeat participation: as a result of the successful participation in 2010 most of the companies will be exhibiting again at the GrindTec 2012: 73% will “certainly be there again”, 23% “probably”, and only 2% don’t think so at the time of the interview.

High expectations were placed in the follow-up business after the GrindTec due to the highly valuable contacts made: 31% are expecting “very good” and “good” business after the GrindTec, and 61% are expecting “satisfactory” follow-up business.

GrindTec visitors are without exception experts in the field of grinding technology, and the large majority of them have a lot to say within their companies: 62% of them are decision-makers or are involved in decision making, 27% are involved, at least in an advisory capacity.

In the opinion of the visitors the GrindTec is: The worldwide leading trade fair for this sector (79%), and therefore 44% of them now only visit the GrindTec in order to find information on innovations and the latest trends in grinding technology.

The selection of exhibits presented at the GrindTec is assessed by 93% as “very good” or “good”, and by only 1% as “less satisfactory”.
