11,070 visitors (19 %), 354 exhibitors (+ 22 %), 24,000 exhibition area (+ 30 %) – the GrindTec 2008 presented itself as the international top platform for the sector of grinding technology. This was also the opinion of the visitors: For 72 %* the GrindTec is the worldwide leading trade fair for their sector.

Once again the exhibitors gave the best marks for their participation: 78 % assess the results as “very good” and “good”, for 18 % the GrindTec was “satisfactory”. 83 % will “certainly be attending again” at the GrindTec 2010, only 1 % does not have this intention. 93 % of the exhibitors were expecting “very good” to “satisfactory” follow-up business.

The large majority of the visitors hold important positions in their companies. 61 % of them are decision-makers or are involved in decision-making, 20 % are involved in an advisory capacity – and 42 % now only visit the GrindTec, in order to find information on the latest innovations and trends in grinding technology.
